Story Premise & World

Our Life: Now & Forever is a choice-heavy, nostalgic slice-of-life visual novel set in the mountain ridge town of Golden Grove. Moving into a long-vacant house at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with your mother at age 10, your life changes forever when a stray paper airplane flies over the fence into your yard.

Across four distinct autumns spanning twelve years—from childhood (Step 1) and high school adolescence (Step 2) to young adulthood (Step 3) and mature adulthood (Step 4)—you shape your bonds with two neighboring leads: the wild, tree-climbing Tamarack Baumann and the gentle, culinary artisan Qiu Lin.
